2. Marketplace Nature

Gebya is a community-driven communication platform connecting buyers and sellers in Ethiopia. Gebya does not take ownership of listed goods, does not handle offline financial transactions, and does not guarantee the condition, authenticity, or delivery of any item. Buyers and sellers transact directly at their own discretion.

3. User Conduct & Prohibited Items

You agree not to post, request, or transact any of the following on Gebya:

• Illegal goods, firearms, weapons, or hazardous materials.
• Counterfeit currency, stolen goods, or unauthorized intellectual property.
• Fraudulent schemes, misleading price information, or deceptive advertising.
• Harassing, defamatory, or offensive content directed at other users.

4. Safety & In-Person Transactions

We urge all users to exercise sound judgment:

• Meet in secure, public, well-lit areas for item inspection and exchange.
• Inspect items thoroughly before releasing payment.
• Never send advance payments or bank transfers to strangers without verifying the item.

5. Content & Account Termination

We reserve the right to remove any post, offer, or account that violates these terms or engages in spam, fraudulent activity, or abusive behavior without prior notice.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gebya shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from transactions, disputes, or communications between users.
