  • Account Information: Full name, email address, phone number, and password (securely hashed via Supabase Authentication).
  • Listing Data: Titles, descriptions, images, prices, category selections, and general location details you submit when posting.
  • Communication Data: Chat messages and offer negotiations exchanged between buyers and sellers within Gebya.
  • Technical Data: IP address, device type, browser information, and session timestamps used solely for security and performance monitoring.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To display your marketplace listings to prospective buyers and sellers.
  • To facilitate direct buyer-to-seller negotiations and real-time chat.
  • To verify user identity and prevent marketplace spam, fraud, or duplicate accounts.
  • To notify you of incoming offers, accepted negotiations, and system updates.

4. Data Sharing & Visibility

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Public marketplace visitors can view your listing details, general location, and seller name. Your email address is never made public. Phone numbers are only shared when you choose to provide them or exchange contact details directly with a prospective trading partner.

5. Security & Storage

Your credentials and session tokens are encrypted using industry-standard protocols (JWT, TLS/HTTPS, and cryptographic hashing). Images are stored securely on our cloud storage infrastructure. While no transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, we implement strict role-based access controls to safeguard your data.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to review, update, or delete your listings and profile information at any time from your account settings. If you wish to permanently delete your account and associated data, please contact us.
